Deceptive photos - it's mostly plastic!
The manufacturer's photos intentionally make the silver colored plastic appear equal to the stainless steel portions. When someone is seeking stainless, plastic falls WAYYY short of the goal. In real life, the silver plastic does not look much like stainless.
I like it, but for the money I deserve to have a unit with a stainless face.
