Made in Italy Quality
Early days yet but so far the SIP INT300 Plasma Cutter has performed as expected and can test cut-up heavy suspension parts with no problem. With inbuilt compressor I do not need to use my air compressor to use. Only draw- back is that it requires a 16 amp Commando plug for full power operations but you can maybe use it at half power with a 13 amp plug. It weighs only 17Kg so easily portable.
Bought this SIP marked product because it is actually Made in Italy by Helvi. I already have a couple of Helvi products (spot welder and 2 battery chargers) that were marketed by Machine Mart under their Clarke banner.
At only 25% of the RRP this SIP INT300 new plasma cutter was a bargain.

Last British Made Spanners?
I already have a set of metric Britool spanners of the same design so decided to purchase some A/F spanners for one of my old British cars. Lucky to find the last Made in England set from Chrometrader before they sold out.
These NOS Britool ring spanners are useful because they have hexagonal rings at one end and bi-hex at the other end. The bent design feels comfortable in the hand and can access nuts better than conventional straight spanners. Under normal use they should last well but be careful putting too much torque on the hex ring as my (too strong) son broke one of my metric spanners by brute force when trying to undo a suspension nut. Not the spanners fault but just too much force!
Pity that Britool are now made abroad nowadays.

Czech Made quality replacement radiator
Had to buy a new radiator for a 20 year old Volvo S.40 as the original sprang a leak and you cannot repair plastic/aluminium radiators. Easily fitted, just slots in from top without the need to remove the plastic fan housing as recommended by U tube. Appears to be good quality and reduced the running temp slightly. The icing on the cake was that it was Made in the Czech Republic!
