Absolutely does not disappoint!
"In Death" series is my absolute favorite series EVER! Eve Dallas and Rourke provide excitement, humor, sexuality and much more, along with Peabody, Mavis and all of the regular characters! If you have not read this series which is written in futuristic terms, 2060ish, you definitely need to!!!! Echoes In Death was as good or better than all of the books in the series. I am always looking so forward to the next book and I am actually very sad when i have finished it because I have to then wait until the next book is out to get myself more of Eve Dallas and Rourke! Excellent reading!!!! Nora Roberts, who is great writing as herself, is at her very best writing as JD Robb!!!!

AWSOME BOOK! Another wonderfully exciting page turner!!!
This is the first review that I have ever done, given the many products that I have purchased over the years! I bought this book because I absolutely love all of JD Robb's "In Death" series books and this one did not disappoint at all! The characters in the books are forever interesting, especially the main characters, Eve Dallas and Roarke, and the contrast and similarities between this married couple and their lives before ever meeting! Eve, suffering from extreme childhood abuse and now a top New York homicide cop, and Roarke, also having suffered extreme childhood abuse, a gorgeous Irish self made multi billionaire who became that way through illegal means until meeting and falling in love with "his cop" Eve! The books are set in the future after an urban war. This book and all the previous books are filled with exciting murder and great sex and just the right amount of humor mixed in as Eve struggles to solve the case, often with computer geek Roarke's help! Many times the scene of the crime takes place in a building owned by Roarke, or involves one of his employes etc, which was how they met in the first place. You grow to love Eve and Roarke, also Detective Peabody, Eve's partner, and Mavis, Eve's best friend, whom she met having arrested her, and many other colorful characters! I dislike nothing about this book or any of her other "In Death" books! I highly recommend this book and the entire series! You come to love them more and more as you get to know the characters and will, like me, anxiously await the next book and the next!
