A must-have for any phone
The first time this prevents your phone from sliding off your dashboard and breaking (which will be about the first day you after you put it on) it will have paid for itself. Pretty amazing material.

Too big for car brakes.
It's heavy duty, but the jaws are too big to get between the brake drum and the backing plate without prying the plate WAY out and deforming it, if you can even get it out far enough to use it at all. Probably good for any other application though,
