Course requirement
This book is very interesting. I would not have ordered for my personal library but the content has enlightened my knowledge of sociology in theory of Ferdinand Tonnies.

Mudpie loves great works...
I like the flow of this book for my non-reading ninth graders. This book held their attention. We laughed through the entire book. Kudos to Louis Sachar for such good works. I also believe the reader's club recuited at least four more book worms. The English Department asked what books we teachers wanted and I asked for this book. I researched the background of the book and the author, finding both interesting and the rest is history.

Uncle Tom's Cabin
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe gives the reader a up front personal view of the tragedies of slavery. I also saw commitment to its fullest by Uncle Tom. I brought this book as a Christmas gift to one of my students.
