XT is smooth and durable.
Shimano XT cassette shifts smooth and is durable. If you power up hills, then you must have a carrier for the big sprockets. Cheap cassettes have individual large sprockets (lower gears) dig in and damage the freehub.

Lots of power very good battery life. Would recommend.

I would rate the power as similar to a mid-range gas trimmer. It is not lightweight like a corded trimmer, but very reasonable weight for its power. It is very easy to operate and control.
