Collectable Hot Wheels Auburn 852 designed by Larry Wood
The Auburn 852 was designed by Larry Wood. It was designed after the first sports car that was not released until it reached 100 mph in 1935. Released in 1979 with exposed exhaust and tear dropped fenders, it looked fast just standing still. Larry's design was almost completely metal, which probably lead to the discontinuation of production in 2003.
