MTH Railking passenger cars are tops!
The MTH Railking passenger cars are lightweight, all have full interiors and overhead lighting, which I much prefer to the Lionel type foggy windows/black silhouettes. Put a bunch of seated passengers in each car, turn off the room lights at night, and the ambiance takes me back to the real fun of model RRs and watching them speed by! If you do a product locator search on MTH, the listings of road names and styles available are almost endless. Have fun!

Canadian Pacific Railking Budd Car set
As old as this set is (2003, I think) and with the original recharged battery in it, all systems were go, including the engine noise, bell, horn, and crew talk. All running lights were operational, the finish was still perfect, and the set is a neat reminder of the many Budd Car trips we took on BC Rail from N. Vancouver to Prince George, British Columbia. Thanks for the memories!!

Absolutely awesome! This freight car w/its sound system enables a train nut like myself to run any O gauge locomotive with great choo-choo, whistle and bell sounds with NO hookup to the loco itself!! The uses are endless!! The performance is just great! Thanks again!!
