OK, but with reservations.
Whilst the cable worked as expected, as packaged by this supplier it was bent to less than its specified bending radius. A bigger package should have been used.

Excellent lower-cost EUMETCast receiver
I bought this second-hand item as a spare for reception of the EUMETCast weather satellite data. It's been tested a couple of times and works correctly. There is a problem with the software as the TBS-supplied data reception software (latest IP Tool) does not work correctly with some Windows systems causing major crashes (also confirmed by other users, some OK, some not) and a 3rd-party program BDADataEx is required. This is the reason for "not easy to install". I've not tested this box on other satellite TV services but I see no reason why it should not work. The box does get quite warm so I recommend a well-ventilated area, and perhaps placing the box on a support to improve the air-flow. GM8ARV

Works as expected, but only tested at 1.1 GHz.
