Good overview of GIMP
Overall a good overview of GIMP directed more towards Photography vs Graphics. Would have liked to see more re Layers, but has good step-by-step instructions and a companion CD with images you can modify.

Good quality and works well
This is just what I was looking to purchase. I need it to do some photos of plants, leaves, etc. It works well for this and probably many other uses.
