Best in its class for passive leg movement
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I developed lymphedema from spending too much time sitting at the computer during the coronavirus pandemic that began in early 2020, which manifested as ugly swelling in my feet and ankles. Doctor prescribed lymphatic massage but Medicare won't cover it; also, compression stockings (I got a pair of open-toe knee-high ones that work well for $25). I already knew I needed something under desk to keep my feet moving. After literally weeks of research, I accepted that there's nothing out there right now that walks your feet for you. The under desk elliptical trainers and cycles require you to remember to move your feet, hard to do when you're trying to focus on the computer. The LegXercise machine wasn't much of a passive walking foot mover, but this model, the LegXercise PRO with slightly concave track for the foot platforms, was definitely a step in the right direction. At least it moves your ankles ever so gently. I bought it for lack of what I really need. It does what it advertises, and it goes for 9,999 steps before shutting off. You have to turn it on again if you want it to continue moving your feet. I even tried it on my bed as a side-to-side "chi" machine. Not perfect, but that's a niche waiting to be filled: a LegXercise PRO "Plus" that has a saddle attachment to go over one of the foot platforms to convert it into a chi machine when desired. I put two backless furry slippers together heel in heel to create a saddle for the two feet. This machine, the LegXercise PRO, is currently the best choice for passive leg movement. I'm happy for the time being, but will keep looking for the LegXercise people to produce the next obvious model: constant movement, more ankle motion, and a saddle for conversion to use as a "chi" machine. It needs a motor with enough watts to handle all this.

Nutrition science written for people like you and me
I bought Let's Get Well in New York City some time back in the late 1970s or early 1980s. It became my nutrition bible for many years. I still have the book, which is a paperback, and it is literally falling apart now (2018). Davis includes specific advice about what to eat and/or take for specific health problems, and her Anti-Stress Formula is terrific. She describes scientific studies in a way that instantly clarifies what was done and what the results were. I have loved that book and learned so much from it. It has been dog-eared, underlined, and highlighted, and copious bookmarks are scattered throughout its pages. Her just-the-facts writing style is no-nonsense but easy and compelling, and the footnotes to medical references fill 55 pages at the end of the book. I still pull this little book out and refer to it, as I have for almost 40 years. I highly recommend it, but with a warning: it reads like a thriller, and you won't be able to put it down!

Look no further! These are the ladies' gloves you've been looking for.
These gloves are perfectly warm and beautiful. I bought the wrong size and had to return them, but I bought the correct size and now I'm totally happy. I bought my first pair at Costco a couple of years ago, but Costco no longer carries them, so I scoured the internet looking for a replacement pair. I highly recommend Fownes Brothers gloves. You can't beat them for quality and warmth!
