Superb, instructional, inspiring
Superb; wonderful to look at the images shot by famous photographers, and to understand why some shots were selected, and some not. Like reading an early draft of Hamlet before Shakespeare released the final version.

Outstanding lens; sharp and inexpensive
This is an excellent lens, especially given the price. I shoot it on a Nikon D7100 (a crop-sensor camera) and so this lens become a very sharp and fast (f1.8) medium telephoto, at 75mm. Perfect for portraits and crowd scenes where I want to pick out a detail. With this and the 20mm f1.8 (effectively a 30mm), I have the two most important standard lenses. I recommend this lens unhesitatingly to any Nikon shooter, FX or DX.
