Romantic portrayal of Anne's life excellent acting by Peake amongst others
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Love anything with Maxine Peake in and whilst this movie does not stick religiously to Anne's life story... it still offers a v good insight into her life and more importantly the restraints of her times. About to portray Anne Lister in a new stage version, so this was helpful to get a little more insight. though having also read the diary papers... certainly recommend viewers to study them as well for more accurate view of her life and times.
