Really bright
Great light output, better than the 300W original that had dusted and discoloured over the years. Only 0.5" from pin centreline to back plane, so it fit into my floor lamp without modifications. It is not dimmable, so I removed the diode from the switch that allowed 2 levels of light in the incandescent model.

Negative end not flat may cause trouble in some devices.
Because of the indented negative end, it will not operate some devices. I had to use a coin to bring the negative end out flush and that makes the electrical contact poor.

Replacement for a set I had for years
I have been using these in voltmeters. They have worked fine over the past few years, but needed replacement. These are labelled identically, so I hope they last just as long.
