Brilliant source of information - a compelling read!
I am in the process of starting a model railway layout and due to space restriction I only have room for a small end to end layout. These books have been a brilliant tool in planning to make the most of my limited space and offer a track plan which will offer sufficient operating interest. The author provides so much background information in to not only model railways but the real thing as well. I would recommend buying the complete set (vols 1 -3) to get the full picture.
