Econami Lives Up To It's Name

Econami decoders by Soundtraxx live up to their name. They are an economically priced version of the Soundtraxx Tsunami2 decoder. Most commonly used features of Tsunami2 decoders are included in Econami decoders at a lower price point. A comparison chart between the two product lines can be found on the Soundtraxx website. Most of my locomotives are grouped together in consists so I usually install a Tsunami2 decoder in the lead locomotive of a consist and Econami decoders in the trailing locomotives. Econami decoders are also compatible with original Tsunami decoders and can run together in mixed consists.
