Bought on the off chance..

It's been one of the best gadgets I bought! I bought the first one from LIDL and soon realised it was superb. Went back for a second one and they were all gone! Thankfully eBay is full of resourceful people who make anything available! I now have one for messy oily work (eg car stuff and one for indoor tidier jobs. The barrel full of bits that holds them internally is a very clever idea. The only thing I would say is that they're not the highest quality so if you want to replace them you need to be careful that you buy bits that are the correct length. The well known motoring store sells them in a blue plastic case that costs around £13 but others tend to be too long. It recharges pretty quickly - around 2-3 hours. For a low voltage device it is incredibly powerful. Definitely my favourite gadget purchase this year.

Great replacement for Maplin tips

I searched and searched for Maplin replacement tips for my soldering iron however I could never find any that matched the maplin product code - until i found these. Helpfully they are a live product from another supplier and ship with that complanies part number. Inserted into my maplin soldering iron and it worked perfectly.
