A fox-less Fox
The book’s shallow and not entirely accurate, yet it remains interesting. It’s also very peculiar in that while it’s full of photos of various Fox films (which tell you virtually nothing about either the films or the studio that produced them), there isn’t even one photo of the studio lot, itself, though it was Darryl Zanuck’s domain for over thirty years, with its layout and aesthetics a reflection of his personal sensibilties.
A most peculiar and poorly executed book.
