Reminiscing and recollections of a half century of swinging in the drumming world
Another easy read by Bruce Klauber. I learned some things that I didn't know about several artists that Bruce played with. Insightful and entertaining.

A drummer on Sticks N Skins
Excellent photographic book.......obviously a huge labor of love.....and done fantastically...... BUT ...Most disturbing.....can't believe that Jules left out Gene Krupa....the original drummer man! Come on guys and gals (fellow drummers)...some one should have insisted as Gene really was the person that brought the drums out front and with a cast of others propelled the drummer tradition and history of or as so aptly called "The world of drumming" ...without which everything would be different.
Think Chick, Cozy, Big Sid, Philly Joe, Papa Jo, Baby, Art, Dave, Max, Shelly, Ray, Barrett......you know who I'm talking about. If you don't .....take some time to research and learn about the people and personalities that form the history of drumming. Savor it as it will make you a more complete member of the drummer brotherhood. Just my opinion but I believe that with another 30 or 50 pages added to include some of the pioneers this could have been the single most important photographic collection of the people who propelled the sticks and those that today continue to beat the skins creating the powerful rhythm of time that all drummers express.
