Fast paced suspense/crime novel,
Good read. Finished quicker than most novels. Lou. Berney keep one engaged in the story to the end. This is obviously a person who truly loves writing for the sheer art of it.

I stupidly got a vented log until I reaiized the meaning and got this -- the vent free log. So nice. What an amiable environment this creates.

Women's Barracks
An overlooked female perspective of the war years. The writing is not of a very good quality even for a pulp. The power of a cover is often underestimated. If you intend to publish, make sure to have cover that appeals to a subliminal prurient interest and good cover design.
