Good gasket set
This did the trick, to repair my old Craftsman leaf blower (made by Husqvarna). This appears to be a genuine OEM gasket replacement set.
It is common for certain Craftsman/Husqvarna models to have the cylinder jug bolts come loose, leading to a major crankcase leak. In my case, the base gasket between the cylinder jug and the lower crankcase was damaged. The gasket is not flat, it is more like a thin formed rubber O-ring, with an elongated/irregular shape that fits into a thin grove on the lower crankcase. I don't work on a lot of 2-stroke engines so maybe they are all sealed in a similar way, I don't know.
Anyhow, my original gasket either got blown out when the bolts came loose, or more likely, I damaged the gasket by pinching it when I tried retightening the bolts, without first checking that the gasket was properly seated. The new gasket fit perfectly.
It would be nice if someone made just a replacement gasket since this is a common problem. This is a kit to reseal the whole crankcase, but if you have more extensive sealing problems with the crankcase, well then you really have to question whether it is worth it. I had fun and learned something so I don't have any regrets. Also, even though brand new leaf blowers of similar quality are cheap, I don't really need a brand new leaf blower.

Fits great and works smoothly.
This fit perfectly. I should note that the ferrule on the z-bend end is plastic and snaps into place, whereas the original SKU (which is superseded by this part) is metal. I could imagine that the plastic ferrule or retaining clips could crack over time, especially on a snowblower operated in the cold. Then again, it might outlive the snowblower it is going on -- a relatively cheap design that wasn't really built to last forever anyhow. In the meantime, it fits right and works smoothly.
Perhaps a bigger problem is that the rubber boot on the opposite end is thin material and split right away during installation. Since it's installed already I'm not going to try to return it.
I would buy it again if I needed to.
