Good value, nice looking piece
I almost bought a solid wood item similar to this for $800. I am glad I opted for this one for under one hundred. It is a good quality veneer, seems very sturdy and was easy for me (an old geezer) and my daughter to put together. I love it. Holds lots of books and is the perfect spot to put my new TV on top.

lap edition is a winner
The lap edition is ideal. Sturdy, and you can see everything much clearer. My kids loved this book to death and now I am reading it to my grandson every single nap and every single night. Kids love all the drawings and especially tracking the little mouse that changes places on each page.
