An excellent remaster
Faithful to the original games, which remain as fantastic as ever.
The games run at a steady 60fps compared to the original 30fps on the PS3, as well as at a resolution of 1080p as opposed to the original 720p. Anti-aliasing is utilized.
Many (if not all) of the most glaringly low-resolution textures have been remade at higher resolutions.
I've only played the first game in the collection so far, but the lighting effects are less vivid, there's no more bloom, the saturation of colors and contrast between light and dark has been toned down for a more believable look, and the skin of the characters no longer look shiny like wet clay, bringing the it closer to how the other two games looked.
