powerful, good value
Very good value, powerful, but I still prefer the previous version ! This version is confusing. I spend most of the time looking for common things in menus that I would have expected to be on immediate display, although I expect that's just down to being unfamiliar with the package, so I've given it a "YES" in the binary choice of "Is it easy to use ?"

Simple firmware upgrade turns this into a cheap, competitive drive
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Needed a fast boot drive, tried migrating to an OCZ octane but that was no faster than my 2.5" 7200 HDD, (should have read the reviews).
The Crucial M4 is much faster, once I downloaded the ISO file from Crucial to upgrade the firmware to version 00F. Don't be put off by this, the instructions from the Crucial website guide you through the process. You will need to burn the downloaded iso file to a CD and reboot, but it only takes seconds to upgrade, and the speed difference is considerable.

Does what it's supposed to effectively
Not quite sure what I would do without this product ... People who rely on it need good value for money, and this provides it.
