Does what it says.
The Thudbuster LT G4 suspension seatpost has allowed me to have a comfortable ride on my new ebike which has a front shock but has a hard tail. I have a lower vertbrae, L5-S1 that is deteriating. Cracks in roads, dirt roads, and unforseen bumps were jaring to me. I decided on the Thudbuster and am impressed. It absorbs nearly all but the biggest bumps( I slow down for them so they aren't an issue) and has made my rides fun and enjoyable. I bought a sleeve shim as its post diameter did not fit my bike. Be aware that if you are short it may not work for you because the elastomeric piece raised the minimum seat height about 5". Without the seatpost raised it is a perfect height for road riding (I'm 5'-10"). If you are an aggressive rider going down hill on single track may cause you problems because of a higher center of gravity.
