Napa 3691 Spark Plug Re-Thread Tool - 10 & 12mm Back Tap USA

compared price with a Napa Store

Great design to accomplished the screwed up thread problem with spark plug holes. Much better than the top down approach of ordinary taps. The 10 and 12 mm were too small for my job, ordered a 18mm to fit. Called the local Napa Store for price comparison; purchased as a close out for around $25, Napa, if the product was available, cost around $130.00.

Not quite like the original

The new Honda carb fits my GX240 ok ;however, not without modifications to the original choke housing. The GX240 is part of an old gen set with a Dayton generator, with a vacuum control choke. The new carb has a choke that will not interface with the existing choke control, so the original controls for closing the choke and vacuum pot are going to be removed and replaced with an open/close a lever control . In addition, a small part the choke control support structure needed to be removed to allow the metal part to fit on the carb with a air filter housing attached. Due to mounting of the air filter housing the gas shut out on the carb is not usable. Anyway, the thing starts.

Make connections

Product is great. Hard to find female threading, fit perfectly and accepted the male connection. Shipping was a bit slow however.
