Quick and easy

Could not find my Cambell Hausfeld compressor model listed so went on appearances. As my unit was well used and I did not really need high (150lb) pressure, I purchased the same (appearing) switch but with the shut off set at 125 psi. This way it does not run as long before turnoff. The switch was identical to the one removed and certainly appeared o.e.m. No extra parts were needed to complete install. Fast shipping.

A highly rated model no longer made

Can't say much more than this scanner does what i was expecting it to do. This model is no longer available, perhaps the newer version is even better.

Ratchet wrench repair

My ratchet repair was a bit more involved as it was using the components for a Craftsman 43434 to rebuild an old 3/8's Matco wrench. The components suggested that both Craftsman and Matco were made by the same manufacturer at that time. The glitch was that Craftsman used a push button release for the socket, Matco did not so I had to bore a hole in the head with a small diamond hole saw. The conversion also required me to grind a step off the socket 'gear'. All very doable, but done as a favor for a friend. All parts of kit are made of quality steel, and well machined. A simple fix if using the appropriate Craftsman wrench.
