Good but needs external antennas to be better.
Sounds very good and operates as designed. I had to add an external dipole antenna to the external FM antenna port ($7 item) to get good FM reception. AM reception is very poor, but this is do to the radio design which focused on sound reproduction and not tuner sensitivity and noise reduction. The radio has no provision for connecting an external AM antenna. Hopefully adding an AM loop antenna with magnetic field electromagnetic induction coupling to the internal AM antenna will improve this. Such an antenna can be built by a novice for less than $10.
