Let there be drums!
I've been a Sandy Nelson fan since early 60's. I was big into instrumentals rather than songs, Johnny and the Hurricanes my favorite at the time, The Ventures and any surf instrumentals as the craze got started, Pipeline, Wipeout etc.
Sandy caught my attention cause I loved drums and he was the best.
This collection gathers a ton of drum driven instrumentals, some covers but lots of Sandy's own creations. I didn't know there was so much of his music still available but boy is there, I bought 4 different complamations and drummed myself crazy, up loud in the car!
Highly recommended, I never took up the drums myself, my grandson did, so I get my fix through him and Sandy.
All good stuff here, if you grew up in the late 50's early 60's you'll enjoy this 2 disc set and you don't have to know the words, ha, there aren't any.
