Sending unit I received was not the one ...

Sending unit I received was not the one in the picture, the one I received had the float arm cut and spliced back together with a crimp splice and was sliced on around 45 degrees crooked. Also when tested with gauge it it jumps from reading 1/4 tank to full as the float is slowly risen.
