For older emulators only

It only seems to work on older emulators like fba. Doesn't work with newer ones, has dpad issues with steam fighting games like sfv, sf4, etc. Even joy2key didn't make it work.

Nice replacement for the official Sony IDE adapter but without the Ethernet.

Confirmed working. This is either a genuine Game star sata adapter or a good clone. Hooked it up a 2tb sata western digital blue hdd and had a memory card containing ulaunchElf 4.43a and OPL 0.9.3. My ps2 is a phat 30000 series with no modchips. Format the hard drive in ulaunchelf then copy your games onto it it's as simple as that. Note that u do need to FULLY power off your ps2 (not even standby mode is allowed) before u remove hdds from ur console. Hdl dump GUI doesn't work on my PC so I used ps2HD Handiness 0.75 and a sata dock (winstars communicator d3) to transfer files.
