Garden wire

The wire was thinner than expected. I am using it to train climbing roses and could really have done with something thicker. Nothing wrong with the product, just not well suited to my application.

OK for a small garden

The area covered is tiny. I have very good water pressure here and I would estimate the coverage is about 120 sq. m. A lot less than the 350 sq. m. claimed. The Hozelock oscillating sprinkler gives slightly better coverage but the build quality of the Gardena sprinkler is much better and I expect it will last longer. Time will tell !! The Hozelock is half the price of the Gardena. I tried the Gardena because I have very early failures with the Hozelock.

Does the job

I used Roundup Ultra purchased on ebay to treat a 0.5 acre plot. I acquired a very good and cheap knapsack sprayer from Screwfix. It took me quite a while to spray the entire area, probably 5 or 6 hours. Also took 2 weeks before there was any real sign of anything happening. Now it is all killed off and ready for the next stage. The Roundup does not kill ivy but apart from that it seems to be 100%. Good product.
