Quality product
this cover is really good quality and is robust. It has aquality feel to it and has a padded flip down front as seen in the photo. this can make adjusting the ipod a bit fiddly, and connecting the 32 pin adaptor (for in car use for example) requires holding the ipod in the case otherwise it pushes out the top. This aside, the case does what you want it to do. protects your ipod with a strong durable cover

Easy read and useful background information.Wont help you fix your clock.
If you are looking at buying this book, it may be that you have a torsion pendulum clock and it is not working. I will bet that the torsion spring is snapped or bent.
Well, this book is a useful overview of the torsion pendulum clocks, their manufacture, makers types and lots of other information which will boost your understanding of the clock you own. It has plenty of colour photographs and close ups of the clock mechanisms, so it is an easy read. It will not help you repair your clock though.I would recommend this book as nice to have but not essential.
The only book to date that will give you the information you need to successfully replace that spring is the Charles Terwilliger book, which costs upward of 5 times more than this book, but really is the document to have, and will save you time and money in the long run.Charles Terwilligers book will let you Identify your clock, the mechanism and exactly the size of spring you need. Even has replica drawings of how and where to re attach the fork and blocks to the torsion spring for the correct length setting.
After the initial cost, you can repair your clock for less than 10 pounds (15 dollars)(year 2012). Top tip, if your clock is requiring a clean, remove the hands, and dial, and wash the clock mechanism in kerosene. allow to drain/dry then liberally lubricate with a thin mineral oil, or penetrating oil (wd40). worked for me.
Setting the clock into beat. this sounds like rocket science when explained but is SIMPLE to do.It is simply adjusting (rotating) the top block (that the suspension spring attaches to)left or right (when it is on the clock) by a tiny amount so that the clock keeps ticking.you can measure the effect this movement has by looking at the pendulum, and by counting how many times it turns past a fixed point on the base. lets say it rotates 2 and a 1/4 times left then 2 and a 1/4 times right. the 1/4 turn should be equal distance past the fixed point on the base (preferrably the center line of the pendulum ) try it. easy.

Best Safety Feature
This item is best suited for the camera to protect the extendable lens from accidental damage due to dropping, or opening in your pocket and jamming. Fit a ND filter to the end to prevent dust ingress.
