Lightweight titanium, Fab looking frames, super value.
THis is my second pair.The first I tried on in a store 4 years ago and loved the way they looked, I have a small head and face and it is hard to find frames that not only fit but suit me.
The glasses would have cost over $900 with my progressive scrip at he brick and mortar store.
I made note of the model # and found them online via a Canadian firm, SpecsDirect.ca. I was able to order my glasses, with excellent Verilux lenses for just over $300!
Now the Modos have begun to loose their fine red coating and I am ready for a new prescription. I was thrilled to find the frames for almost nothing. SpecsDirect will let me mail them these frames and fit them with lenses.
Why am I buying them again? not just the look, which is sharp and suits my face, but the comfort! these titanium frames weigh nearly nothing - I can barely feel them compared to other cheaper frames I have bought on line to complete "fashion"looks. I have realized too that it is worth it to pay for high quality lenses. My Verilux have survived 4 years in fantastic condition.
The seller was prompt in mailing the lenses, however while they were padded in bubble wrap, I would have felt better had they also been protected with something stiff enough to prevent bending should a weight have dropped on them, but they are titanium so perhaps the seller knew they would travel well in a soft plastic case and bubble wrap.

Great addition to the kitchen tool arsenal.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Love them - comfy & sharp. Easy to clean. Haven't tried them on chicken bones, but they are grand for snipping herbs - the main reason i bought them. Also good to mince crystallized ginger to add to snacks. Will also be using them to prune back house plants.
