Son (13) Loves it! But quickly broke...week spot on this unit or systemic failure? Not sure.
This was ordered as a Christmas gift for our 13 yr old son. He adores transformers and takes excellent care of them. There is a piece on Chewbacca that flips down to become the front center cover between the two forward mandibles. It broke off within only 2-3 transformations. That being said, I believe we will be able to fix it with some special glue designed for plastic and resin. Just very disappointing to have it happen so soon after opening, especially on Christmas Day.
This could just be a week spot on this unit, or a systemic failure on the toy overall. It would be worth the time to research and see if others had the same issue. Other than that, the toy is great! Its a medium size with a weighty feel, and all the pieces seem to transform very well. There are instructions on YouTube as well as those included.
