Inexpensive way to enter world of Transformer add-ons
5 von 5 finden das hilfreich Considering you get a full size Optimus Prime figure with this add-on kit, it's hard not to recommend it to collectors or enthusiasts who are considering add-ons but don't want to permanently alter a figure already in their collection. What you get is the original OP figure plus the attachable pieces that make up the Super God Ginrai Armor. There are also two extra rifles and a set of unpainted arm swords that I believe were included in the Japanese release of the original Prime figure. There are also two alternate heads provided: one of movie prime with his face mask deployed, and a more G1 looking Ginrai head. Finally, instead of the Megatron rifle that came in the U.S. release of the original figure, the buster rifle from the japanese release is included as well.
The figure itself is rather sturdy with the torso actually made up of die-cast panels. The armor pieces snap on at various points to the robot mode to give him an approximation of the original Super God Ginrai armor complete with winged jet pack and chromed-out chest plate. Everything attaches well, but different parts stay on better during play than others. If you're just going to pose him for display, then this shouldn't be a problem for you.
The alternate heads are the only semi-permanent changes as all other armor bits and weapons can be easily unpegged and removed. In the U.S., this figure was released with a head molded with the battle mask withdrawn. The Japanese version had the battle mask deployed, and as I mentioned that head is provided. In fact, you can swap out the light piping middle bit from the original head on the figure and use the alternate battle mask head with it and it all still works. The Ginrai head fits a little less perfectly on the neck and is noticeably smaller than the movie head. This isn't really an issue until you attach the armor and the difference in bulk makes the figure over all look pinheaded. I chose to go with the battle mask head, but I may change it out at some point.
The armor bits also attach to Prime in his truck mode, sort of building out a truck bed like a pick-up truck. The only pieces that do not clearly have a place in this mode are the swords and extra rifles. Everything else can be attached to look almost like they were supposed to be there all along. I added a little extra paint to mine to punch it up and reduce the red-out effect of all that red plastic.

Classic beat 'em up for Sega Genesis
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is a classic game from the Sega Genesis library. The Streets of Rage series pretty much defined the side-scrolling beat 'em up genre at the time. What makes this final entry in the series so compelling (and divisive) among fans is the BPM-ish electronica sound track. Sure the character roster is updated and so are the animations, but it's the music that people either love or hate. If you haven't guessed, I'm in the love-it camp on this one. If you have an original working Genesis console or one of the recent hardware emulators, you should add this game to your collection.

Great Shinobi game featuring attack dog
Shadow Dancer is one of those classic games that I remember playing in the arcade but not on a home console. This is one of many good games in the Shinobi series. Featuring a new gameplay element in your ninja attack dog and relying almost entirely on shuriken, this side-scrolling ninja game still plays great and features a difficulty level that hinges mostly on learning the timing of enemy spawns. Highly recommended, but not the best ninja game. I think Stryder, though not a "Shinobi" game, was slightly better.
