GeForce® 7600 GT (256 MB PCI-E GigabyteGV-NX76T256D-RH)
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Gigabyte GV-NX76T256D-RH GeForce® 7600 GT, (256 MB) PCI Express Graphic Card:
Once mid-rage now at budget prices as its been superceded by DX10 cards but if you haven't got or wouldn't touch M$ Vista, why bother with those?
This particular version has 256MB GDD3 (128bit) and is the PCI-express version. No aux power connector is needed. There is no fan, instead there's a large passive heatsink, plus a few extra like games and a analogue HDTV dongle.
Performance is good, with a 2GHz core2duo and cheap mobo you're looking around
DirectX:
3DMark 2001=23806
3DMark 2003=13020
3DMark 2005=5787
3DMark 2001=3176
& for OpenGL
Lightmark 2007 (1280x1024 FS) = 60.8 fps
If you're sticking with XP & on a budget, you could save quite a bit & still future proof youself for a few years yet.

nVidia GeForce 6200 (AGP)
First of all, let me say that this is not a card for dedicated gamers, as it is three generations old (nVidia is now on the GeForce 9xxx series), and is the entry level offering for the 6xxx series at that.
That said, the shader performance is vastly better than the previous lacklustre fx5xxx series, meaning acceptable gameplay with older dx9.0c and OpenGL 2.0 games at moderate resolutions and quality. A bonus is the support of the full Aero desktop in Windows Vista, again unlike the GeForce 5xxx series.
This particular model I'm reviewing is by Asus and has 128MB DDR RAM and is AGP 8x. It is passively cooled and could be adapted to a low profile case, making it a good choice for a media PC. VGA, DVI and composite TV-out are all present. If you have an older AGP PC and only old or on-board Intel/Via/SiS graphics, but wish to play the occasional game or attempt an "upgrade" to Windows Vista, this is probably the cheapest way to do it.
