Simple but it works
I've always found it hard to get a good finish with silicone etc. sealants - this works brilliantly to give variable sized and shaped beads.

Lightweight mike stand
This is an excellent microphone stand that is both light weight for schlepping around and also fairly substantial - I have done a gig outside in a howling gale and it performed without incident. (Don't forget it doesn't come fitted with a microphone holder so you will need to purchase that separately.)
