Hybrid radios rock!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Ham radio operators have realized what guitar players have known for years .... tube amplifiers out perform solid state amplifiers. The Kenwood 520, 820, 530 and 830 are some of the best of these hybrid radios (transistors for the receive and vacuum tubes for amplified transmit). The other hybrid radios worth mentioning are the Yaesu FT101 (E,EE,EX,ZD), FT901, and FT 902. These radios put out up to 120 watts, there are no "menus" to deal with (just good old knobs, buttons, and switches), and they sound GREAT on the air! 5 stars!!!
