I accept this situation is due to my lack of research and should not have bid in the first place. Its a heavy card and the lack of mounting bracket would have mattered to me if I'd persevered so I've knocked a few stars off as the description says it didn't matter whereas without the brackets it's impossible to safely mount it on a vertical motherboard.

X1C 2018 compatible
Actually fits my X1 Carbon unlike many Kensington locks I'd have preferred if the same key opened all 3 locks but other than that it's perfect

The Perfect Gaming Mouse
For many years my goto mouse was the Razer Deathadder however while it was a very comfortable mouse they regularly failed and synapse is an absolutely awful piece of software so when my last one started to have issues i decided it was time for a change.
After much research i stumbled across this, its a very similar shape and layout to the Deathadder so seemed a good choice and it most definitely was. Not only does the general finish feel nicer than the DA the buttons feel more clicky and responsive, also this mouse has NO companion software, thats right! none at all! the sensitivity is adjusted with a button on the bottom, simple, quick, effective.
If i had to level a complaint at it id say the plastic on the USB plug feels a little cheap but other than that i genuinely struggle to find fault with it.
Basically if you want a damn accurate, comfortable gaming mouse that focuses on just getting that right rather than adding pointless RGB lighting controls and macros most people never use then this is the mouse for you. all in all it basically feels like someone took the Deathadder as a starting point and improved it in pretty much every way
