3RPM Auger Feed Motor for wood Pellet Grill Upgrade Replacement- MADE IN THE USA

Follow up to a previous review.

I think this is the first time I have ever added an update to a review I did earlier. This motor fit my Pit Boss PB1150 pellet grill perfectly. No modifications of any kind. I put my grill to the test this weekend and I've got to tell you my grill NEVER worked as well as it did after installing this motor. I was having trouble keeping the heat up to the desired tempurature before installing this motor, but not anymore. In my opinion,the 2 RPM motor should never have been used on this size grill. However, this 3RPM motor never failed in maintaining the set tempurature, even when I set it to 450 degrees. Very pleased with it. If you're having the same issues with your Pit Boss grill, don't hesitate in buying this motor. Well worth it.

Technical information lacking

Alternator seems to be working well. Technical information sent with the alternator was trash as far as I’m concerned. As I was converting my 6v tractor to 12v, it was not just swapping old for new and reconnecting wires. Information on terminals sent with alternator did not match any actual terminals on alternator. The two spade terminals were not marked in any way. Took some bench diagnostics to finally figure it out.

Good product but....

Works well. Does seem to have a small idle issue. Have to idle my string trimmer a little higher than usual to keep it running. High speed just fine.
