Gets smoke odor out!
6 von 6 finden das hilfreich We purchased a home that belonged to a heavy smoker. The usual cure for the soaked-in smoke smell is to replace all the flooring and re-painting all the walls and ceilings with Killz primer, then a fresh color coat. As the house appeared to have been recently painted inside with a semi-gloss paint, we opted to simply wash the walls and ceiling and replace the carpet. This removed probably about 95% of the smell. I read about commercial companies using these devices to eliminate smell so decided to try this unit. It took several applications to remove the remaining smell but by the 3rd time, it was gone and has not returned. The ionized oxygen molecules it generates attacks anything organic (including the remaining smoke particles we did not get by cleaning). Our house is 2200 sq. feet. We placed the device on a small table in the center of the closed-up house, turned on the furnace fan and set the unit's timer for the full 2 hours. We came back several hours later. The device had properly turned itself off and we aired out the house to vent the very strong ozone odor ( you don't want to breath much of that stuff). The change was dramatic. The first try removed pretty much all the smoke smell. We noticed it again during rainy days so repeated the treatment. After the 3rd time, the smell does not seem to be returning even on wet days. Worth the cost even for just one house to de-stink.

As good as original
My original battery failed after about 3 years. This one replaced it exactly and has been working well for over a year now.
