Works a dream

Followed the instructions and it cloned off our existing remote easily. Worked first time I tried it on the garage door. Happy with my purchase.

Improved the illumination big time.

These globes improved the amount of light going down the road big time. I did run some heavy duty wiring, fuses and relays with them as I don’t think the original wiring harnesses would cope with the extra current draw. Also wouldn’t recommend them with headlight assemblies with polycarbonate lenses as they run hot. The blue tint makes the light output easier on the eyes, reducing fatigue.

Took a bit to sort out

I followed the instructions and fitted it as per what it said for a front wheel drive car and was sadly disappointed. Cruise control wouldn’t work above 80 kmh. Read the instructions again and cut the specified wire and went for another drive . This time it didn’t work below 100kmh. Read the instructions again and hidden in a paragraph it mentioned that some front wheel cars may need 3 magnets instead of 2 to work. Took it for a drive and cruise control didn’t work at all. This time I ignored the instructions, reconnected the cut wire, removed 2 magnets and left one installed. Took it for a drive and the cruise control worked perfectly, just like all of the other ones that I have installed. Sometimes it pays to ignore the instructions.
