Very flawed, but can stimulate a lot of great discussion.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This book can be used as the basis for a lot of stimulating and meaningful discussion, as long as it is done in the spirit of sharing.
I say that as a practicing and intentional Christian, and one who doesn't agree with much of what Strobel writes (although there are a few things I resonate strongly with). The fundamental and fatal flaw is that he is very unbalanced in his presentation, coming across as *already* a believer, despite the premise that he's coming into this as an atheist or agnostic and detached objective investigator.
Still, there's a lot of food for discussion, and can be used as a basis for contemplating how we mortals tend to assess things, without realizing how things like confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance bias our assessment. And it inherently raises other interesting questions, such as what is the spectrum of what Christians actually believe on certain things, as opposed to the stereotypical view of Christians.
