excellent synth
This has quickly become my goto instrument for synth style sounds, it is also an excellent unit to route sound through for effects. There is a neat feature called the atomizer that does a creative rhythmic chopping effect on incoming sound that you'll recognize from many songs and performances.
The 16 part multi timbral with huge polyphony make using this synth more convenient than most.
All the modulation, osc and filter options make it suitable for nearly any role. With this, a decent sampler workstation and maybe an analog mono instrument, you could have all your synthesis needs covered.
