The microphone on the cable detects your voice only if you talk into it within 1cm.

The microphone on the cable detects your voice only if you talk into it within 1cm. But if you are wearing headphones and if the cable is positioned on the place where it is hanging from your headphones the mic doesnt detects your voice.
