High quality and low file size
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I work from home and my company sent me a cheap all-in-one scanner/printer for $120 and it made HUGE HUGE files and quality was poor; one page could be 2.5 MB. Trying to make files smaller didn't work without tremendous quality decay. My company then sent me a HP 8350. OK, it is 10 times more expensive but you can throw 100 pages up on the ADF and walk away and you have a very high quality pdf file, maybe 3 x the quality of the all-in-one, and a file size of 1.5 MB for all 100 pages. Color as well. Software is very easy to use and you can program several buttons on the unit for "one touch - walk away", BW, Color, ADF, Flatbed, etc. Or use the software from you computer to tune the image quality different from your pre-set buttons. I recommend this scanner to anyone, even a home managed small business.

Careful of setup
Some say this gives inconsistent readings. I agree if you do not take great care in centering it perfectly so the 'ball' of the coupler is not putting the plunger slightly in a side torque and that includes leveling your trailer for 90* actuation to the plunger. For tandems or triples uncoupled after a turn one needs to 'relieve' the wheel walk bind where the tandem tires are trying to walk off the rims. You can liken an incorrect reading to you standing on one foot on one edge of your bathroom scale instead of evenly placing your feet symmetrically over the dead center.
