Still a fun game. Great for collectors.
As a collector with over 1000 games, the Resident Evil series is easily in my top 5 favorites. I bought this game to add to the collection because the long-box version was one of the few from the series that I didn't have. If you are looking to buy or play the first Resident Evil just for fun, I do not recommend purchasing the long-box version. The Director's Cut is usually less expensive and is basically the same game!

FUN GAME
Sometimes the super expensive games can be dull, but this one is actually super fun. I’m a huge fan of shooters and Mega Man, and this game combines both, so it’s awesome to me. It’s just hard for me to ever say that paying a few hundred dollars for an old game to play is ever a good idea, unless you’re a collector.
