Compelling but not completely satisfying
Liked the plot but it just didn’t have enough flesh on the bones. Grateful to read John le Carre’s last novel and appreciate the effort his son and publishers put into bringing it to fruition, but it didn’t quite hit the spot for me.
However, worth the read to feel the essence of the intellect in the silver years on home turf. Able to manifest trust and comfort with a sense of unease which is still a powerful skill in this novel. Worth a read and respect to a great thriller writer no longer with us.

Dimmable candle bulbs, work well at great price
I was a bit cautious as these light bulbs were cheapest I could find and thought they might be less reliable BUT they are three stage dimmable, bright and reliable so far
