Lego 42032 Technic Compact Tracked Loader
Great fun for young and old. I am in my 60's and enjoyed making the model. There's not much around that can appeal to both 7 year olds and someone my age. Worth every penny (or euro or dollar etc.).

I damaged my RCX - 2 unit so was wary whether this would work as a replacement. I have not had any problems with the unit considering as it was an earlier version. One added bonus is that if you are making stationary models they can be powered by an adapter instead of the batteries. I have been told that the data transfer from the tower is slower but I haven't found this a problem.

00 Scale traffic lights.
I thought about making these myself as most that I have seen are either scale and not working or working but too big for scale. I sent off for these on the off chance. I was pleasantly surprised when I received them as they seem to be just right ( I don't have 1950's traffic light to compare them to).
there are two things to note the wires for the lights stand slightly proud of the post, for the rivet counters amongst us, this can be disguised as a finial which I've seen in old photos. The other thing is that on old photos I have the lights appear to black and white striped again no problem. Perhaps some were all black. I will be buying more soon as i cannot make them as good for this price.
